A 21 year old man has taken his own life in Nsanje after his uncle refused give him money meant for lobola.

Nsanje Police spokesperson Agnes Zalakoma has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the deceased as Hussen Chazama.

According to Zalakoma, the deceased hanged himself in a tree after his uncle identified as Christopher Stone refused him money for lobola.

Meanwhile, law enforces have urged the general public to desist from committing suicide when faced with challenges.
