Police in Salima have arrested a 51-year-old man, Tadeyo Juwawo, found with two bags of marijuana without the necessary authorization.

Salima Police Sub Inspector Rabecca Ndiwate confirmed that the arrest occurred at Kaphatenga Trading Centre.

Ndiwate stated that Juwawo, originally from Machinjiri under Chief Machinjiri in Blantyre, was apprehended after appearing at the local court.

The suspect will face charges related to the illegal possession of marijuana once the investigation is complete.
