Man Missing After Crocodile Attack in Shire River in Nsanje

A 39-year-old man, Peter Christopher, from Kulutileni Village in the area of Traditional Authority Ngabu in Nsanje District, is missing after a crocodile attack in the Shire River.

The incident occurred on Sunday around 8 pm when the victim was bathing in the river.

Declare Mbukwa, the deputy spokesperson for Nsanje Police Station, reported that onlookers at the scene attempted to scare away the crocodile by throwing stones, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Currently, the local police have heightened their efforts to locate the missing man.
