A 26-year-old man Innocent Kananji has donated MK110, 000 to Limbe Police Station in Blantyre.  

The money will be used to purchase Closed-circuit television CCTV connectors at the station.

According to Kananji, as a citizen, it was his responsibility to support the efforts of Limbe Police in ensuring public safety.

In his remarks, Officer-In-Charge of Limbe Police Station, Gladson Chipumphula commended Kananji for the donation.

Limbe Police Station, has, for a while been using CCTV cameras to detect and avert crime before its occurrence.
