A 56 year old man, identified as Chimwala Chimwele has died after hanging himself to the roof of his house at Zuze village in Lumbadzi.

It is reported that Chimwele (now deceased) who was staying with his family was bidding farewell to members of his family and friends yesterday Friday that he had few days to leave this earth with no apparent reason.

His relatives found his body lifeless in his house and reported to Lumbadzi Police Station.

Officers together with medical personnel from Lumbadzi Health Centre visited the scene of crime and postmortem results revealed that death was caused by suffocation due to strangulation.

Meanwhile, Police in Lumbadzi is advising people to always share problems with others whenever depressed for counselling instead of taking their own lives

Chimwele hailed from Zuze village, Traditional Authority Chitukula in Lilongwe.
