A 22 year old man of Shikoswe within Kafue District has been arrested by Police for allegedly stealing underwear belonging to a wife of a police officer.

An impeccable source has told Kafue Times that Peter Samasoja has been arrested for stealing pants and clothes belonging to the wife of a named police officer.

The incident happened when Peter was sent by the named police officer to go to his house and collect mealie meal but ended up also getting pants and clothes of the wife of this police officer.

“The wife of the Police Officer was not around when the boy went to collect the mealie meal, so when she returned, the complainant in this case discovered that some of her pants and clothes were missing and after she inquired Peter was identified as the suspect and was apprehended”

The source added that after interrogations Peter admitted stealing the pants and clothes which he intended to give her girlfriend as birthday present.

Peter has since been detained at Shikoswe Police Post awaiting court appearance.
