Police in Nkhata Bay have arrested Yoswa Nyirenda, 68, for allegedly operating a private clinic without a licence.

Nyirenda is said to have been operating the clinic in one of his house’s rooms at Sanga in the district.

Nkhata Bay Police spokesperson Kondwani James has confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press.

Nyirenda has been charged with operating a clinic without a licence, against the pharmacy and medicines law.
