Police in Chikwawa have arrested a 34-year-old man, Tikondane Mafaya Nyadani for allegedly murdering an ADMARC security guard who was working at Ngabu depot on 1 February 2023 and robbed his motorcycle.

The body of the guard, Patrick Naisi, was later found dumped along Ngabu- Nkumaniza road with multiple deep cuts on the head.

District Police spokesperson, Sergeant Dickson Matemba said Nyadani was arrested on 9 February 2023 after investigations carried out by Ngabu Police Detectives.

Matemba said investigations are still going on to apprehend his alleged accomplices of Nyadani who comes from Saopa village in the area of Traditional Authority Ngabu in Chikwawa.
