Police in Mchinji are keeping in custody, a 32 year-old man for allegedly being found in possession of essential drugs without a licence.

Mchinji police publicist Limbani Mpinganjira said, the suspect Patrick Zulu, was arrested on Thursday at Chipumi trading centre in the border district as he was looking for a possible market.

The law enforcers among others have recovered 11 bottles of Triclofeni, tablets of Magnesium, Pilton, Fragil, Abandazon, capsules and packets of uninac diclofenac.
