The body of Malawi’s Catholic Priest Michael Samson Mawelera has been laid to rest in Mbeya City, Tanzania.

The Priest died mysteriously on 11 June 2022 after missing for a day and his body was found at Sabasaba area in Mbeya City.

Late Fr. Mawelera who originally came from Mzambazi Catholic Parish in the Diocese of Mzuzu was serving as a missionary in the Archdiocese of Mbeya, Tanzania.
