A Malawian police officers has landed himself in trouble for being found drunk while on duty.

In a viral video seen by this publication, the Police Mobile Service officer is seen back at police patrol car, the infamous cruiser being interrogated by a senior police officer.

The officer who is only identified as Sargent Kampazanji is reportedly to have left the post he was assigned to and went to take the angry drink.

When asked why he left his post, the officer said he went to chips while complaining that he was given only one thousand Kwacha.
