A Malawian man in Mulanje district shocked his relatives after he killed himself over a mobile phone.

Mulanje Police Publicist Gresham Ngwira confirmed of the development and identified the deceased as Wise Mbewa.

According to Ngwira, Mbewa, 42 left a suicide note explaining that his mobile phone was stolen hence a move to kill himself.

According to Mbewa he could not stand with the reality that his mobile phone was stolen.
