A Malawian man has died after drinking too much beer that he had stolen while his boss was away.
This is according to Lilongwe police station deputy public relations officer Foster Benjamin.
Benjamin has identified the deceased as a 27 year old Amin John and was working at a brewery.
He died on Wednesday after drinking the brew at his Chitipi workplace.
He was initially tasked with cleaning the bottles because there was no production due to an electrical outage.
John came from Kapyepye Village Traditional Authority Lundu in Blantyre.
