Information reaching this publication indicates that well-known Malawian boxer Alexander ” the Cage ,” Likande has died in the early hours of Monday.

His friend Byson ‘Fuso Fighter’ Gwayani has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

Gwayani said Likande died at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe where he was receiving treatment after being involved in road accident.

It is said that Likande met his fate while coming from a fight.

Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
