Malawi will host the Confederation of Schools Sports Associations in Southern Africa (Cossasa) Elective Annual General Meeting (EAGM) this Friday at Sunbird Capital Hotel in Lilongwe.

The school sports association has membership of all countries in the Southern Africa region.

Malawi School Sports Association (Massa) president Blackson Malamula has since said he will contest on the position of vice president against Theo Nuugulu from Namibia.

Malamula is the only Malawian candidate.

In an interview Tuesday, Malamula a win for him will ensure that Malawi has a voice at the regional association’s executive assemblies.

North Education Division (NED) sports desk officer Edmond Chakwira said Malamula’s win will be good for the country.
