Malawi Prison Service is relocating its headquarters from Zomba to Lilongwe, a move confirmed by National spokesperson Chimwemwe Shawa.

The Ministry of Lands has provided two floors at Magalasi House for this transition.

Shawa highlights that this move is aimed at cost reduction, as senior officers often had to travel to the capital for important matters.
