State House head of communications Sean Kampondeni has disclosed that the United States president Joe Biden has included Malawi in the shortlisted countries to benefit from Feed the Future project.

Kamapondeni made the remarks during a State house media briefing underway in Lilongwe.

He said this was availed last month when Samatha Power, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, met President Lazarus Chakwera.

Feed the Future is a US Government’s global hunger and food security initiative, meant to address the root causes of poverty, hunger and malnutrition and transforming lives.
