President William Ruto was duly sworn in as Kenya’s 5th President on 13th September 2022 at the Kasarani Stadium where tens of thousands witnessed the milestone.
After his swearing in and according to traditions, the head of state was expected to immediately move into the State House where he is to mark his new regime.
However, it has now been revealed that 2 weeks since his inauguration, Ruto is yet to move into his now official home, state house.
According to reliable sources, Ruto’s delay in moving in is as a result of ongoing renovations at the house on the hill.
Ruto is believed to have wanted a specific taste and preference that is currently being worked on hence why he is yet to move into the premises.
His Deputy, Rigathi Gachagua recently revealed that he is also yet to move into the Deputy President’s mansion in Karen as he is not in a hurry.
Once the renovations are done, Ruto is expected to move into the State House.
