Lilongwe Water Board Suspends Supply Of Water To Parliament

The Lilongwe Water Board has suspended supplying water to the Parliament Building due to the damage of its pipe that supplies water to the House and surrounding areas.

Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament Aisha Adams has confirmed of the development.

Adams told legislators that the waterboard has since provided bousers to refill water tanks at Parliament.

The legislators have reconvened for today’s deliberations.

On Friday last week, Parliament was suspended prematurely due to water crisis at the August house in Lilongwe.
