Lilongwe Police Launches Manhunt For Murderer Suspect

Police in Lilongwe have launched a manhunt  for a man suspected for allegedly stab to death a 23 year old man.
Spokesperson for Lilongwe Police Station, Inspector Hastings Chigalu has confirmed the incident happened on 21st August in Area 36 and identified the suspect as Sangulani Khansala and deceased as Freza Chisale.
According to Chigalu, the deceased met his fate when he allegedly failed to pay a gate entry fee for a birthday party the suspect organized.
The disagreements erupted when Chisale (deceased), gate-crashed the event, insisting to enter without the set fee which was demanded and this angered Khansala and he produced a knife and stabbed the victim twice in the head.
He says he however died at Kamuzu Central Hospital after receiving treatment for two days.
The deceased hailed from Chelewani Village in the Traditional Authority Chakhaza in Dowa district.
