ports reaching this publication indicate that the capita city of Malawi, Lilongwe has been hit by fuel shortages for the past three days in many pumping points across the city.
According top Zodiak, the situation has forced the motorists to queue for more time than usual.
Same incident was reported yesterday in Ntchisi and Lumbadzi in Dowa.
In Ntchisi, two pumping stations were down forcing the motorists to purchase the commodity from black markets at a price of K2,500 and K3,000 per litre.
Commenting on the matter, Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority spokesperson Fitina Khonje says authorities are working to ensure steady supply of fuel.
