The Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DODMA) has expressed worries over the increase in number of people who have died due to lighting this week.

Spokesperson for DODMA Chipiliro Khamula said 13 more deaths have been recorded this week with 15 other cases recorded earlier.

Khamula has since asked Malawians to seek shelter in safe areas since the situation is very worrisome.
