Tonse ‘Liars’ Alliance Partners are today expected to meet at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe for a ‘make or break’ round table meeting.

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) leader, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, who is also Malawi President, is expected to chair the meeting.

While the agenda is not yet known, one of the alliance partners who refused to be named called it a make or break meeting.

“Some of us will be eager to know the future of this alliance. I just feel that we seem to have taken a different direction.

Do we still have this alliance or it’s time each of us focused on their own parties?” said one of the alliance partners

MCP’s Spokesperson, Reverend Dr, Maurice Munthali, also said he is not aware of the agenda.

Umodzi Party President Dr John Chisi, People Party President Dr. Joyce Banda and Enock Chihana of Alliance for Democracy Afford (AFORD) have confirmed their attendance.
