A standard 1 learner at Kambwiri Primary School has been electrocuted to death in Salima district, faceofmalawi can reveal.

The learner has been identified as Sarah Patrick aged 6.

According to information at hand, the girl met her fate after she touched an ESCOM wire that was left hanging from a pole.

She touched the wire during break time as she together with friends went to buy food.

The police are yet to comment on the matter.
