Law Society Tips Police To Step Up Security Systems Following Death Of Lawyer Kajani Banda

The Malawi Law Society (MLS), is pressing the police to step up security systems to curb rising cases of violent criminal attacks across the country.

Over the weekend, lawyer Kajani Banda was found dead after he was brutally assaulted and dumped in a maize field by unknown criminals around Kameza location in Blantyre.

This is the latest in violent attacks that the citizenry continue to report in various localities, where many are being left with various degrees of injury while the unfortunate ones succumb to death.

While stressing that as things stand, it is difficult to ascertain the cause of Kajani’s attack, MLS Honorary Secretary Chrispin Ngunde, hopes that the police will swiftly get to the bottom of the matter.

Meanwhile, there was no immediate comment from the police as the appropriate authorities could not be reached via their phone lines.
