Kanengo Police Recovers Stolen Vehicle

A 34 year old man Pitilizani Frank has landed himself in the hands of the police for allegedly stealing a minibus belonging to Clifton Njobvu.

Kanengo Police Spokesperson Gresham Ngwira said on 19 October this year, Njobvu took his vehicle registration number CK3733 Toyota Hiace minibus, to a certain place for safe keeping.

“The following morning at around 04:30 hours, Frank went there and lied to the security guard that Njobvu is his father and that he had sent him to pick the vehicle,” said Ngwira.

It is reported that the suspect fled to Dowa where he was later arrested.

Frank hails from Kainja Village Traditional Authority Mkukula in Dowa, will appear in court soon.
