The aftermaths of Cyclone Freddy continue haunting lives and families of different people in the country.
Akonda Kaiwe is a head of five from Ngondo village, Traditional Authority Mwambo in Zomba district.
The family is surviving winter under the dilapidated shelter, including a seven months old baby.
Kaiwe said that on a very cold and showering Thursday that the floods left them destitute and that the needs are just numerous; from shelter to food.
“We do not even know when we will have a proper house again,” said Kaiwe (in red top).
The heartfelt Pictures of the family posted on social media, has drifted people’s reaction.
Meanwhile,one of the business tycoon in the country Kondwani Kachamba Ngiwira, has promised to construct a house for the family within eight days.
