Julius Malema Attacks Chakwera

South Africa’s leader of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Julius Malema has come after Malawi leader Lazarus Chakwera hours after he dissolved his cabinet.

On Monday, Chakwera dissolved his entire cabinet and announced that new Cabinet will be named in 48 hours.

The dissolution of the Cabinet comes amid reports that most of the ministers were involved in corruption scandals.

During a press briefing when asked to comment on the political atmosphere in Malawi, Malema said Chakwera is trying to blame other people of his failures.

According to Malema Chakwera is struggling to get relevance in the country.

“And that one who dissolved his Cabinet, it’s his prerogative, it’s not a declaration of a crisis. I think it’s more of internal issue than any other thing. He is the president who is struggling with getting relevance in Malawi,” said Malema.

Malema continued that all this is because he overpromised during the 2020 fresh president elections.

“He overpromised and he is finding difficult to deliver and then he wants to be blaming it on other people,” he said.

Chakwera administration is being accused of accommodating corrupt individuals.
