Former President Dr. Joyce Banda on Thursday took advantage of three-day High-level Intergenerational Dialogue on Generation Equality and Women’s Leadership in Africa in Lilongwe to introduce her friend to Oyanda to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

Writing on her official facebook after the meeting, Banda described the occasion as memorable to her friend Oyanda.

“His Excellency President Lazarus Chakwera and First Lady Monica Chakwera found me and my friend Oyanda in the holding room chatting particularly discussing the uncomfortable COVID19 test we just had in order to be allowed in the BICC compound.

“Oyanda has told me that she has several people she will show this photo at school. What I know is that one day when she is president of MALAWI she will look at this photo and marvel at Gods love and favor,” wrote Banda.

She added: “Let us mark this day.”
