The Embassy of Japan in Malawi is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary of being in the country, on Saturday, 10th December 2022.

According to the Embassy, they have organized for this year’s Japanese Ambassador’s 7th Kendo Championship together with the Kendo Association of Malawi (KAM) to happen on the same day.

The Japanese Martial Art has also invited Malawians to celebrate with them and be ready to be excited to see the first-class matches and techniques demonstrated by passionate Kendo players.

The tournament will be held at Robins Park in Blantyre.

The Japanese Ambassador’s 6th Kendo Championship happened on November 24, 2022.
