An angry man of Masaiti district on the Copperbelt has allegedly beaten his wife and hacked his friend after he suspected them of having an affair.

Joseph Mulenga allegedly beat his wife, Ruth Kalyelye, and hacked his friend Enock Kaswaswa on Tuesday around 02:00 hours on suspicion that they were having an affair.

It is alleged that Mr Kaswaswa went for a drink up with the suspect’s wife on Monday while Mr Mulenga went to drink at another bar.

The suspect was very upset with what he found home and started beating his wife, whom he accused of having an affair with his wife.
