The Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services has announced that its passport issuance system has developed fault which has caused disruptions in their operations.

According to a letter released by the department, currently they are unable to print and process travel documents due to the system failure.

“The Passport issuance system is experiencing technical interruptions with these technical issues, the department is unable to process and print passports,” reads part of the Statement,

However, the department has said that they are working tirelessly to ensure that things return to normal as quickly as possible.
