Martse died this morning at Queen Elizabeth Central (QECH) where he was receiving treatment after suffering serious burns after a house he was sleeping in caught fire in Monkey Bay (Mangochi).

The death of Martse comes barely a day after the government through Presidential Advisor on youth and arts Lucius Banda promised to send the artist abroad for medical attention.

Meanwhile, musicians in the country are sending condolence messages to the bereaved family.
