The State has indicated that the names of people implicated in the MacDonald Masambuka case may be revisited for prosecution after sentencing.
High Court Judge Dorothy NyaKaunda Kamanga yesterday convicted 12 people who were involved in the gruesome killing of the 22-year-old man with albinism in March 2018.
In her ruling, Nyakaunda Kamanga wondered why some names that were being mentioned in the matter were not among the disclosures.
The names include former President Peter Mutharika and his former advisor on persons with albinism, Hetherwick Ntaba.
The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Dr. Steve Kayuni has told the local press that the matter will be taken up subject to the upcoming ruling.
