Govt begins to force refugees and asylums seekers back to Dzaleka camp

Authorities have confirmed that enforcement has commenced forcing refugees and asylum seekers back to Dzaleka camp.

Government had given up to April 15th for all refugees and asylum seekers to voluntarily relocate to Dzaleka Refugee Camp.

Meanwhile a snap check in Lilongwe city in some  Areas including 36, Kawale and Mchesi finds out that most shops belonging to Burundians remain closed.

Patrick Botha Spokesperson for Ministry of Homeland Security says security agencies are on the ground to ensure that all concerned refugees and asylum seekers get back to the camp.

Botha added that the operation will continue until all refugees and asylum seekers abide by the country’s laws
