The former Minister of Finance, Goodall Gondwe, has passed away at the age of 87. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) announced his death on Tuesday night through its online platforms.

Gondwe had served as the finance minister during the administration led by the Democratic Progressive Party. At the time of his passing, he held the position of Vice President for the Northern Region within the DPP.

He was originally from Kayiwonanga Village in the area of Traditional Authority Mtwalo in Mzimba.
