According to official from Ministry of Tourism, the hotel failed to pay the fees despite several reminders adding that their licence expired in 2021.
Last week, the ministry also closed down Korean Garden Lodge, Crown Hotel, Lalala’s Eating Place at City Mall, Our Place Guesthouse in Area 15 and a restaurant at Lilongwe Sanctuary for failing to pay licensing fee.
