General Alliance Insurance Malawi has reaffirmed its commitment to sponsor its cricket team after winning the Cricket Corporate Sixes Academy tournament.
The company’s managing director Karan Savjani announced this on Friday when they honoured General Alliance Cricket team for winning the tournament.

He said: “We are thrilled with the performance of our cricket team and their outstanding victory in the tournament. As a company, we have always believed in the power of sports to empower and inspire our youth and supporting our cricket team is just one way we contribute to their growth and development.”
Savjani urged the team to continue doing well, saying: “This win is just the beginning. We believe in the potential of our young talent.
“We are committed to providing them with the necessary resources and encouragement to achieve even greater heights in the future.”
Vice-team captain Alick Kamsonkho thanked General Alliance for the support which helped the team to do well.
“We are grateful to General Alliance for their support throughout our journey. Their unwavering commitment and belief in our abilities have been instrumental in our success,” he said.
The tournament featured teams, including Load Masters, All Over Trading, Fumigation International Malawi, Bakeman’s and Nyasa MC.
