Police in Kanengo, Lilongwe, are keeping in custody four people for allegedly damaging property worth K850, 000.

The suspects are Rebecca Nchaka, 28, of Chimadenga Village, Traditional Authority (TA) Chadza, Cecilia Phiri, 29 of Chimoka Village, TA Chitukula, Yohane Nchaka, 22 of Chimadenga Village, TA Chadza and Samuel Ngolomi, 36 of Chimoka Village, TA Chitukula all from Lilongwe.

The suspects will appear in court soon to answer a charge of malicious damage contrary to Section 344 of the Penal Code.
