Former first lady Gertrude Mutharika attended a political rally organized by one of Democratic Progressive Party’s (DPP) presidential aspirants Bright Msaka.

Yesterday the side of Msaka held a political rally at Balaka Primary School ground.

The former first attended the rally by Msaka side amid infights that are happening in the party by some senior officials.

This is the first time the first lady has attended a political rally since DPP was ousted from power.

DPP’s vice president for the south Kondwani Nankhumwa has been holding political rallies in the country but the first lady has never attended.
