About five people have ‘died’ in a road accident that has occurred near Mlare Trading Centre in Karonga.

A lorry {in the picture} carrying people who were going to a funeral at Nyungwe overturned at the spot.

According to unconfirmed reports say the five died on the spot and several others have been injured.

Both the police and health official from the district are yet to comment on the development.
