The race to the TNM Super League promotion goes to the wire this afternoon in the Chipiku Stores Central Region Football Association (CRFA) as Extreme FC take on Wimbe United at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in a top of the table clash.
With two games to wrap up the season, the two teams are separated by a two-point gap, Extreme FC have 15 points while Wimbe United have 13.
The game is a must win for Extreme if they are to increase their chances of getting promoted to the elite league.
In their first round game, Wimbe won 3-1 at Kasungu Stadium.

Extreme FC vice-coach Chifundo Chimkokomo said they will approach today’s game like a cup final.
He said: “This is a must win game for us. We are looking forward to extending our two-point gap. We are playing at home which is an added advantage.”
Wimbe team manager Simkhalitsa Manda was upbeat of victory.
He said: “We have prepared well and we are ready. We know they will be hard on us because they have memories of the first round game. But we are equally ready for that.”
In other fixtures, fifth-placed Mbabzi United face Silver Strikers Reserves at Kamuzu Barracks (KB) ground.
Silver Strikers Reserves, who lie third with 12 points, also the chances of winning the league.
Their coach Macdonald Yobe said their mission is still alive.
“We are looking forward to winning this game and see what will happen next,” he said.
CRFA publicist Kondwani Kandiado has appealed to the teams to observe discipline and fair play.
“Referees should handle the games professionally so that they can also protect their integrity,” he said.
