Former Zambia First Lady Esther Lungu is this morning scheduled to appear before woodlands police barely hours after armed police officers conducted a search at the official residence of former President Edgar Lungu.

The former first lady is accused of grabbing motor vehicles namely Mitsubishi Canter bearing registration number BAV 5282, Toyota Allex bearing registration number BAV 3986 and Toyota Runx bearing registration number BAV 3986 belonging to Furhana Patel, a niece to Edgar Lungu.

The suspect is also alleged to have grabbed a certificate of title for stand number.
