Lilongwe Senior Resident Magistrate Chimwemwe Chimwaza has granted bail to former Tobacco Commission (TC) Chief Executive Officer Kayisi Sadala.

Kayisi Sadala was arrested on Tuesday in relation to the sale of two Tobacco Commission houses in 2018.

Sadala spent another night in police cell after the court reserved its bail ruling on the matter yesterday and the case was adjourned to today morning.

The suspect is accused of approving the sale of the house to Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa in Lilongwe.
