Former Minister of Unity and Culture Timothy Pagonachi Mtambo who is also leader of Citizens for Transformation (CFT) has endorsed Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) President Enoch Kamzingeni Chahana ahead of the 2025 polls.

Mtambo made the announcement at Chinsapo ground in Lilongwe where the Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) was holding a political rally.

In his speech Mtambo said that Chihana is the only leader that is ready save Malawians from the challenges that they are facing now due to what he called clueless leadership by the Tonse Alliance President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

He said that the current crisis is as a result of leadership clueless-ness.

Mtambo also refuted reports that he has joined the Alliance of the Democracy AFORD, saying CFTC will just work in partnership with AFORD ahead of the 2025 polls.
