The body of seasoned legal practitioner and politician Peter Fachi will be laid to rest on Saturday at HHI Cemetery in Blantyre.

Fachi succumbed to stroke yesterday, leaving behind a wife and four children.

The deceased’s nephew, Hyde Khembo, said vigil is taking place at Fachi’s home at Michiru in Blantyre.

Fachi served as Attorney General and Justice Minister in the United Democratic Front-led administration.
