Former Minister of Gender Jean Kalilani has been appointed as Chairperson of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) disciplinary committee Chairperson.

Kalilani will be deputized by Apostle Timothy Khoviwa.

The appointment was made yesterday during the National Governing Council (NGC) meeting chaired by former President Peter Mutharika at Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi.

The members of the committee include; Hon Francis Mphepo, Hon Paul Gadama and Hon Lonnie Chijere.
