Ex-convict Uladi Mussa re-launches political career, receives hero’s welcome in DPP

Former Minister of Homeland Security Uladi Mussa has received a hero’s welcome in the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) after being released from prison.

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera pardoned Mussa together with other 199 prisoners two weeks ago as part of Easter Celebrations.

A week after his release, this week DPP top officials led by the party’s Deputy Secretary General Hon Efraim Mganda Chiume and National Organising secretary Hon Chimwemwe Chipungu welcomed Mussa at his official residence.

Other notable faces also present were vice president (centre) Zeria Chakale, Mai Chimbalanga, RG centre (Hon Kambalame) just to mention a few.

Uladi was serving a 5 year jail sentence for allegedly issuing citizenship to some foreigners.
