A latest release hit song titled ‘Khete’ by a Blantyre based up and coming gospel artist EM Carlos has taken the music industry by storm.

In an interview with Malawi Voice on Tuesday the multi-talented artist EM Carlos real name Carios Mpira said Khete was produced by Mabvume records.

In the song Khete, the 28-year-old artist EM Carlos talks about the ‘love’ and the ‘Grace’ of God saying ‘God is Love’.  

EM Carlos said people should always put their trust in God saying He does not abandon his children.

“I want to encourage people to always trust and cling to God despite going through tough situations in life,” said EM Carlos, a musician-cum actor.

In one of the verses the song goes; “Inu ndi ine sindingalekane, Yesu ndi Ine ndi Khete Khete, Yesu ndi Ine ndi Khe…”

It further goes: “Mwainu ndapeza Mtendere, mwa inu ndapeza Chimwemwe,..munakhala munthu bwezi ndi kugona ndi njara, mukanakhala munthu mukanaimitsa m’dalitso wainewu…”

Last Sunday on May 28, the artist EM Carlos who is also a professional dancer performed the Khete hit song at PowerHouse International Church, Golden Peacock Hotel in Malawi.
