In a recent development, Chikwawa law enforcement has intensified their efforts by arresting eight more individuals linked to the arson attack and property theft at Chapananga Police Unit.

The district’s police spokesperson, Sergeant Dickson Matemba, revealed that this operation was carried out jointly by Chikwawa Police and Mitole PMS Officers over the course of August 12th and 13th, 2023.

With these new arrests, Police are now keeping 10 suspects over same issue after two were arrested on the day of the incident, 25th July, 2023.

The suspects will appear before court soon.
